All this week we’ve been at the World Travel Market – Africa which is happening in Cape Town. It’s a trade only show and my word have we come across some amazing new things. The best part is that much what we’ve found are new destinations and ideas being offered by people we’ve known personally for ages.
It just feels like Southern Africa is on fire with ideas and positivity at the moment. Here’s a great example, a 4×4 route (self-drive) offered by TransFrontier Parks Destinations. This is arguably the most successful public/private partnership that we’ve ever seen, where travel industry professionals take over failing government owned establishments and turn them around.
