On Day 3, you will be picked up from Parker Cottage by your guide, Chris, for a scenic 3-hour drive north toward the Cederberg. During the drive, you’ll begin to notice the landscape changing as you approach the fringes of the Karoo Desert, offering wide open skies and vast, rugged terrain. Once you arrive in Citrusdal, you’ll stop for a delicious lunch at De Tol Farm Deli, before continuing the journey to your accommodation in the Cederberg.

Your Activities

On Day 3, once you arrive in the Cederberg, you’ll be greeted by your guide, Gary, for a guided hike at 14h00. This hike will allow you to explore the stunning natural beauty of the Cederberg Wilderness Area, with its dramatic rock formations, indigenous flora, and sweeping views. On Day 4, you’ll meet Daleen at Velskoendraai Farm Stall for a guided walk in the Biedouw Valley, a region famous for its wildflowers (seasonal). After the walk, enjoy a picnic lunch prepared by your guide. Later in the day, you will visit the Ramskop Wildflower Garden, a scenic and educational stop for nature enthusiasts. Each evening, you will return to Algeria Cottages, where you’ll have time to relax and enjoy your surroundings.

On Day 24, you’ll begin the morning by visiting the Wildflower Festival one last time, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful floral displays before heading towards Cape Town. After the festival, you’ll take a slow drive from Darling to Cape Town, enjoying the scenic route and preparing for your final days in the city.
